What is limited or LTD mean in business terms?

I'm thinking of creating a small business and i am looking for a way legally must configure it and wanted to know what is a limited (SL), a company involved.

This means that liability is limited to the amount of capital position in the company so if you pass beneath them. Creditors can not have no personal property.
